Facts about the new Wembley Stadium 90.000 seats, total cost £352.603.000, sliding roof, 2 screens having the size of 600 television sets, 310 places for wheelchair users, 133 meter arch above the north stand and visible right across London, designed for football, music and rugby events, expected rugby and football visitors: 1.5 million each year, future use: Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and World Athletics Championship. The Old Wembley known from its towers, inaugurated in 1923 and closed and demolished in 2000, accommodated the Olympic Games of 1948 and the final of the World Cup of football in 1966. On March 10, 2007 the keys to the stadium were handed over to WNSL the Wembley National Stadium Limited. On May 11, 2007 the bronze Bobby Charlton statue in front of the stadium has been unveiled.
Do not puzzle Wembley Arena with the Wembley Stadium! The arena is smaller and located next to the stadium.

By the way Wembley has also an excellent transport connection to the center of London using public transport at Central Station or Wembley Park Station. Wembley stadium seating plan (see graphics below). Football, general layout and seating plan of new Wembley seats:
The new stadium can be accessed by a number of gates and approached from several directions. Entrances are tagged counterclockwise and named A to P. Where entrance A, B, N and P are located at the south side. Entrance C, D and E at the east side. Entrance F, G, H and J at the north side (Olympic Way), coming from Wembley Park Station (Metropolitan and Jubilee line) and entrance K, L and M at the west side, coming from Wembley Stadium Station or Wembley Central (Bakerloo line, Silverlink and Chiltern).

The seating area is divided into 5 levels, level 1, level 2, 3, 4 and level 5, where 5 is the uppermost level. Level 5 can be accessed through entrance A, D, L and P. The level 5 seating blocks are numbered clockwise starting at the north side from number 501 to number 552. Level 1 can be accessed through all entrances. The level 1 seating blocks are numbered clockwise starting at the north side from number 101 to number 144. Level 1 also contains the corinthian seats (north side halfline). Level 2 seating blocks are also numbered clockwise starting at the north side from number 201 to number 252. Level 2 can be accessed from Club Wembley entrance 1 and 2 at the north side and Club Wembley entrance 3 and 4 at the west and east side. Level 2 blocks consist of club seats, executive silver seats, executive gold seats and the royal box in the middle (half line) of the north side. As an example tickets may point to entrance J, block 134, row 22, seat 10.
The sideline of the pitch, goal to goal is west to east along the arch which is above the north stand.

Seating plan Wembley Arena

Seating plan guide of the Wembley Arena. Concert seating plan and general layout of Wembley seat plan:
W indicates west side and is the most common location of the stage for concerts;
N indicates north side, to the left seen from stage, ordering is west to east;
E indicates east side, opposite the stage, ordering is north to south;
S indicates south side, to the right seen from the stage, ordering is west to east;
A stalls area in front of the stage, ordering is north to south;
B stalls area second block in front of the stage, ordering is north to south;
C stalls area third block in front of the stage, ordering is north to south;
D stalls area last block in front of the stage, ordering is north to south;
Please note: This is an indication only, seating plan may change depending on occasion. As an alternative of block A and B there may be a stage too but smaller. We have no information available of the golden circle in front of the stage, the exact size, floor standings and number of tickets available for the golden circle may be different like the diversity of the concerts.
